Visit to the observatory

Our tour will let you know in an entertaining way the Observatory and the activity of researchers working on it.

Canary is one of the three best places in the world for observing the sky with Chile and Hawaii. The Observatorio del Teide is the largest solar observatory in the world and has a large number of solar and night telescopes owned by several European countries.

If you want to make the tour of the Observatory going on their own should be 20 minutes before the start of it in the Izaña Observatory. Tours are held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 12:30 PM in Spanish and English simultaneously and at 14:00 h. German and Spanish simultaneously.
 

The Observatorio del Teide is located 2,390 m. altitude in the area Izaña. It has its entrance at Km. 37 of the TF-24.
