Isla de La Palma

Departure from Puerto de la Cruz to Tenerife North airport. Arrival to the island of La Palma and we started with the visit of the capital of the island, through the main streets of the city (declared Historical and Artistic Heritage). We continue until the Real Shrine of Our Mrs. De las Nieves (Patron saint of the island). We continue to the Mirador de La Concepcion, from where you can have an overview of the municipalities of Santa Cruz de La Palma, Brena Alta, Brena Baja and Puntallana. After the Summit to the municipality of El Paso, there visit the visitor center of the National Park of La Caldera. Ascend to the Mirador de la Cumbrecita, with an optional walk up and Mirador of the huts to watch the breathtaking view of the Caldera Taburiente National Park. Then we descend to the City of the Plains for lunch. After lunch we depart for the municipality of Fuencaliente through the lavas of volcano San Juan. Already in Fuencaliente we descend to the Salinas, the only salinero wit preserved in the province and from where a wonderful panorama of the Teneguía, last volcanic eruption in the Canary Islands can be seen. By the municipality of Villa de Mazo we return to the airport.
