In order to access the Pico del Teide you need a free permit issued by the Administration Office of the National Park, which you can download atwww.reservasparquesnacionales.es. Remember that this permit must be obtained with sufficient notice and, therefore, if you want to visit the summit, the first thing you must do is ascertain the availability of seats.
Teide National Park only allows visitors to stay at the upper station for one hour.
Parking at the base station of Teide Cable Car:
Our car park is open from 7.30am to 6pm. Outside these hours, the car park is closed and the entry and exit of vehicles is not allowed.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
This ascent is not recommended for people with cardiovascular or pulmonary problems, pregnant women or children under 2 years of age due to risk of the high altitude having an adverse effect on their health. Consult your doctor before planning your visit.
